Exploring Literary Resources

Ever tire of your current selection of picture books?

The International Children’s Digital Library is a great place to browse and read a vast variety of different cultural picture books for free.

On the left-hand side of the screen, check out the column of options under “Library.” You can learn how to use the library, read a book, or browse by featured books. Under “Book News,” there are a few other great options to explore, such as “Featured books,” “Award-winning books,” and “Recently added books.”

When you’ve selected a book (you can search for those in English at the top right-hand corner after selecting the “Read a book” option or one of the other book lists), be sure to minimize the icons and make the page full screen. Use the projector to share the book with the class and enjoy!
